The LWK Kitchens team visited Germany recently for our manufacturer’s in-house kitchen trade show. Here we were excited to explore many new kitchen products and accessories, all of which are now available to view, order and buy through LWK Kitchens.
Having outdone themselves (as usual) here are some of the highlights from the exhibition which the LWK kitchens team are keen to share! However, whilst a sneak preview is all well and good, if you are in the market for a new kitchen then a visit to one of our luxury showrooms is strongly advisable. This way you can see and explore our impressive range of kitchen furniture, worktop and appliances first-hand…
1) New kitchen products: Graphite Stone ceramic kitchen doors
State-of-the-art manufacturing processes transform natural raw ceramics into an easy-care surface that is both suitable and stunning for kitchens!
Exclusive to our manufacturer, the Graphite stone ceramic kitchen door is a beautiful example of this. Available for door fronts, worktops and side panels, the Graphite Stone door expertly merges exquisite design with versatile functionality. Other colours within this range include the Calacatta, Concrete, Magma Grey, Iron Grey and Basalt Black kitchen door options.
2) New kitchen products: The Calacatta ceramic kitchen finish
Launched in April 2018, the Calacatta ceramic kitchen door is within the same product family as the Graphite Stone, and already on display in our London showrooms. Its sleek white surface is otherwise characterised by a rough volcano vein effect, which is as dramatic as it is beautiful!
Made of natural Silestone quartz, this hard-wearing surface has a unique anti-bacterial protection against stains and the ingress of water. Even more, the Calacatta can also be book-matched, affording greater opportunity for flexibility and continuity within design.
3) New kitchen products: Anti-finger print kitchen doors
Getting the LWK Kitchens team very excited is a new range of door fronts featuring an innovative anti-fingerprint coating!…This is something we have been waiting on for a very long time! Ideal for darker tones on which prints tend to show up more, this new door range is available in a selection of beautiful colours and will make everyday finger marks on your cabinetry a firm thing of the past.
4) New kitchen products: Stone-effect kitchen doors
With the new ‘Meteor’ stone-effect kitchen door range we can offer a beautifully coarse and textured finish in a choice of ‘Oxide’ or ‘Black Steel’. This high-quality laminate finish is hard to tell apart from some of our real stone doors. It also offers an affordably striking contrast to on-trend dark tones such as the Graphite or Black satin lacquer kitchen finishes. Alternatively pair the Oxide kitchen door with a lighter tone such as cream or taupe and you can accentuate its surface’s rusty red hue. Both Oxide and Black Steel are also available to purchase as laminate kitchen worktop options.
5) New kitchen products: Black kitchen accents
As black continues to dominate current kitchen themes, our manufacturer make it even easier to enhance your dark kitchen’s look with beautiful new black accessories. This includes new options for black flip-up sockets, a variety of black-brushed kitchen handles, as well as a new black handleless kitchen channel. We also now have black kitchen drawer inserts and cutlery trays. Furthermore we can offer our metal frame doors in black with black tinted glass (as well as options for clear or frosted glass).
6) New kitchen products: New Black kitchen doors
Continuing the black kitchen theme we have some beautiful new black kitchen doors. This includes the Toronto Black Oak laminate wood kitchen finish.
An entry level door, this is hard to tell apart from some of our more expensive wood doors, and will make a beautiful and striking impact within any home! The new Volcanic Oak wood kitchen door is a real wood veneer with a very distinctive structure. Unusually, its finish is embossed and it has a very pronounced pore. (As well as Volcanic Oak this new wood veneer is also available in Smoked Oak and Antique Wood. We are also continuing the success of our ‘Graphite’ kitchen door. This was first introduced last year but has now been added to our popular gloss and matt laser kitchen ranges. It is also available within our popular Shaker kitchen collections.
Black kitchen collections:
7) New kitchen products: Natural Vintage Oak with horizontal grain
As with the Toronto Black Oak laminate, the new Natural Vintage Oak is an affordable laminate wood kitchen door. However, this finish also features a horizontal wood grain structure. The colour is warm and amenable, making it the perfect shade to combine with contrasting colours and finishes. From the same range, yet only available in a vertical structure we also have a new Sand Vintage Oak wood laminate kitchen door.
8) New kitchen products: Velvet Green kitchen doors
Filling a rare gap within our collections, LWK Kitchens are delighted to introduce the Velvet Green satin lacquer kitchen door.
A beautiful forest green, this door colour is both rich and versatile. At the same time it exudes a serene and calming effect- the perfect choice for a busy kitchen environment! Our brushed nostalgic handles in gold or anthracite are also new to our collections and truly set off the sumptuous velvet green. Alternatively you might pair this finish in a two-tone combination with warm wood accents, creating the feel of a luxurious yet easy-going kitchen space.
9) Industrial Steel metallic lacquer kitchen doors
On-trend and making a striking statement within any new kitchen is our new Industrial steel kitchen door. This statement finish can also boast that every kitchen door front and side panel is entirely unique due to being individually hand-finished.
Team it with white, taupe or else a bold black satin lacquer…whatever your chosen combination this finish is sure to achieve a stunning yet entirely unique look for your home.
10) New kitchen products: Modern storage organisers
Our accessories and storage organising systems have proved so successful that we have now developed them further to include useful ‘helpers’. For example, we now offer a bottle rack and matching wine glass holder. The latter neatly suspends wine glasses upside down so they dry fully and without leaving drip marks.
And our popular shelf module system is now available in an illuminated version; it can be equipped with cross-partitions for the individual shelves or with a pull-out tray and lighting. This way, different subject areas, such as home workstations or coffee corners can be easily accessible as well as organised and eye-catching.
11) New kitchen products: Glass roller shutter & climber units
Whether as a wall unit or a worktop wall unit, the glass roller shutter will prove eye-catching in any modern kitchen. The manual version ensures effortless opening, whilst the electric version is operated from an invisible touch switch; this ensures smooth and quiet opening.
12) New kitchen products: Mirror and tile splashbacks
Great for creating a sense of spatial depth within a kitchen, our furniture manufacturer can now offer kitchen splashback options in mirror, bronze mirror or grey mirror.
Made from toughened glass, each is also available in a shiny or satin finish. Any required socket-cut outs can be carried out onsite at the factory in Germany. Alternatively, for those who prefer a classic tiled splashback, we also have new options for a metro grey or metro white tiled splashback. These are available in a choice of a plastic finish or elegant glass back panel.
…Other points to mention are our new tall units with full height doors, seamless cabinetry, divided door fronts for fully-integrated dishwashers, and flap doors which can be opened or closed by pressing on the door’s surface.
We are also very proud of the fact that our kitchens come from one of the largest kitchen manufacturers of wood-based materials, yet with the lowest rate of emissions. All wood naturally contains formaldehyde which can leak into the air in small quantities…But through careful selection of timber materials and suppliers, we can confidently say that since 2017 our wood-based materials are processed with a drastically reduced formaldehyde content. Furthermore all of our varnishes are UV-water based and so entirely harmless to adults, children and pets.
