Lacquered kitchens are manufactured by repeatedly spraying a coloured high gloss lacquer to all doors and units. The sprayed lacquer dries to create an extremely durable finish but because it is very thin the lacquer must be applied in a number of thin coats. This is achieved using advanced robotic technology to spray coat the doors five times within a high pressure vestibule. The repeated coating of the doors produces an appreciable depth of colour, and the use of progressively finer coats produces an extremely smooth surface finish, with mirror quality reflections for the ultimate high gloss lacquer finish. The robotic machinery ensures every section of every door receives the exact same depth of coating for a uniform finish, and in doing so this greatly surpasses the finished quality of high gloss lacquer furniture that has been completed by hand.
Like other high gloss kitchens, our Hi-gloss lacquer furniture is low maintenance as the gloss surface makes it easy to clean with only some warm water and a soft and non-abrasive cloth. For more stubborn marks a little washing up liquid should work but we strongly advise against any bleach or aggressive cleaning agents as harsher products such as this can damage the lacquer.
